After a hard-fought battle that garnered thousands of signatures and widespread support, we've achieved a monumental goal: the establishment of a national green bank. This institution will provide low-cost, long-term funding for clean, renewable energy projects across the country.

We are now on the brink of realizing our green future. However, our work is far from over. Over the next year, the national green bank will play a pivotal role in setting up state green banks in regions without them and will provide funding to existing ones to kickstart clean energy projects.

Unfortunately, certain congressional members aim to disrupt this flow of funds, threatening the progress we've strived so hard to achieve. That's why it's more important than ever to protect this funding and advocate for the undeniable benefits of green banks. 

As part of our “Banking on a Green Future” Campaign, you will:

• Advocate with others for the continued support of clean energy projects to protect their funding.
• Educate and inform skeptics, turning naysayers into advocates by highlighting the successful impacts of green banks on local communities.
• Defend against attempts to undermine or redirect funds for green initiatives, ensuring these resources are used as intended to benefit sustainable development.

No previous experience in advocacy? No problem. We will provide all the tools and training you need to be a supporter, volunteer, activist, and leader for green banks.
