We are dedicated to making sure funds from the Inflation Reduction Act reach communities most impacted by poverty and pollution. Please consider the following 6 recommendations to ensure the climate investments are distributed equitably:

1. Prioritize communities most in need and engage them in the process.

2. Remove funding barriers & incentivize public-private partnerships.

3. Create contracting opportunities for minority-owned green businesses.

4. Provide technical assistance to states, local governments, and impacted groups.

5. Accelerate permitting for clean energy projects.

6. Reward community engagement in proposal development.
