Dear Representative,
As a constituent in your district, I urge you to oppose any efforts to repeal our clean energy tax incentives. This law has been a game-changer for our local economy, bringing in millions of dollars in investments, creating jobs, and making home energy upgrades more affordable. Repealing these provisions would hurt working families and businesses alike, setting back economic growth and increasing costs for all of us.
Since it's implementation, companies in our district have expanded operations, new jobs have been created, and local supply chains have strengthened. Businesses—large and small—have taken advantage of tax incentives to lower costs and invest in growth. Removing these benefits would put jobs at risk, weaken our local economy, and stall progress that’s already underway.
Homeowners in our district, too, have seen direct savings. Clean energy tax credits have made it more affordable to upgrade homes with energy-efficient appliances, better heating and cooling systems, and lower utility bills. These upgrades help our families keep more of their hard-earned money while improving the long-term value of their homes. Taking away these incentives would mean higher energy costs and fewer opportunities for homeowners to make cost-saving improvements.
We urge you to stand with your constituents and protect the economic benefits the clean energy has delivered to our district. Keeping these investments in place will ensure continued job creation, lower household costs, and a stronger local economy. Repealing these tax credits would do the opposite — raising costs, eliminating opportunities, and slowing economic growth. We ask you to protect these investments for the sake of our families, businesses, and future prosperity.
