Across our state, massive data center developments are consuming large amounts of land and energy, while offering relatively few permanent jobs in return. These projects are changing the character of our communities and putting pressure on our power grid, leading to rising energy costs that families and small businesses are forced to absorb.

I believe in free markets, but also in fairness and accountability. When tech corporations can benefit from public infrastructure while passing the costs onto everyday Americans, something is out of balance.
