Have you heard the news? The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has announced a $14 billion National Clean Investment Fund to advance clean technology nationwide. Now, Dream.Org has partnered with the Coalition of Green Capital (CGC) to turn those funds into a national “green” bank. This will unlock capital to fund clean energy projects and create new green jobs in and for low-income and disadvantaged communities on the frontlines of the climate crisis.

If enacted, a National Green Bank would:

Reduce emissions faster by providing more accessible finance options for clean energy projects.
Ensure equitable economic outcomes by prioritizing environmental justice in underserved communities.
Require community engagement so that decisions are made by those who will be impacted.
